Project Folders¶
We have organized project management into two levels: Project Folders and Interview Projects.
Folders¶
Project folders are a way to orginize and group your projects. Aside from grouping the projects, the folders also serve as a way to manage Collaborators and Participants.
You can always add folders to you home-page by clicking on "+ New Folder".
Collaborators¶
When creating a new folder, or editing an existing folder, you are able to specify other users who you want to collaborate with, by entering their email address and picking a suitable role for them. There are currently four different roles to chose from, with different levels of access:
- Viewer
For collaborators who should only be able to see the interview guide and the interviews, but have no capability to change anything related to the projects. - Annotator In addition to being able to view the project materials, annotator can also add annotations as a part of the analytical process.
- Editor Editors can view and edit everything, except for destructive actions such as deleting the project or individual interviews, and changing the name or status of a project.
- Admin Admins have full rights to read and delete everything. This is the default role for users who created the project folder.
Warning
The role based access is shared across all projects in the project folder.
Projects¶
In each Project Folder you can create as many Projects as you need - you do this by clicking on "+ New Projects". A Project is where you define, configure, and test your interview guide, and are able to distribute it to participants.
On each project card, you can see the name of the project, when it was created, when it was last updated, and the number of total respondents who have completed an interview.
